About Daniel

Daniel Ray is the Director of Business Development at Preferred Floor and Tile Company. His role helps solve scalability and profitability challenges for Single Family Rental REITs and iBuyers as it relates to their flooring needs.

“My favorite part about my job is developing and nurturing relationships with our customers ensuring we are performing at the highest levels. I also love the lunches we have for new employees.”

Daniel is blessed with a beautiful wife and three precious boys, which is where most of his time goes. When they are asleep, he likes to run and weight train. When time allows, he enjoys deer hunting, reading good books and playing cornhole or golf.

In addition to his role at PF&TC, Daniel serves as the Associate Director on the Board of Directors for the Home Builder’s Association of Greater Charlotte.

How Daniel Stays Motivated

You don’t have to look far to find what keeps Daniel going.

“I love hearing our customers tell me that we are ‘knocking it out of the park’ and responding to issues quickly.”

The best motivation for Daniel is when his company is asked to start rehabbing an entire house as opposed to just the floors. This is an indicator to him that Preferred Floor and Tile Company has a process that works seamlessly.
